This scene works well cropped as a panorama. I like the way the rocks in the foreground reflect the light. Are you using a polarizing filter? The sky seems darker blue on the right.

no filter. just a small ixus40.. it's the sun which makes the sky brighter to the left.
I found out that cropping sceneries works often very well to produce a nicer panorama.
