Why blue? Regular Ubuntu uses brown, Kubuntu uses blue, why not choose a different color like green or yellow?

Hi Christopher,

The main reason is that blue is Xfce's colour. Furthermore, blue is supposed to be more professional and what not (you'd have to ask Jozsef Mak for the reasoning).

However, when picking the shades, care was taken to use a different shade of blue than Kubuntu's, so I don't think it's likely that someone confuses Xubuntu with Kubuntu :)

But green is better for the eyes, thus for productivity. Blue is so sterile. Windows (XP) are blue, KDE is blue, IBM is blue, even Mac is blue...
