Where is it in Italy?
ThorDuring August 31, 2009, 01:19 PM
:) in Piazza della Signoria.
This link http://www.italyguides.it/us/florence/michelangelo_david.htm has a panoramic header. Well the drawing was made just outside the square in the same line with David's statue but looking behind (between those buildings, where that man in blue T-shirt is rising his hand).
And Piazza della Signoria in GoogleMaps so you can see in StreetView. :D

Thank you, I thought it was Siena, where I live, here too we have an artist like your. I know Piazza della Signoria and I visit Florence frequently. Thank you.

:) pregnantboy !
I did not see people drawing on the streets in Siena.
Well, I was only visiting it for one day. Maybe I did not go where I should have.
And 1 more thing: I am not from Italy; I just got the chance to visit the very city of art and I did! :)

Great chance, maybe you didn't see people drawing in Siena just because not everyday there are people drawing. Hope you enjoyed Tuscany and Siena.

I loved them! :)
I am not saying this just because you are from there, but I simply find Siena as being my kind of city. With all those labyrinths and different levels and old-new styles... it is great! :)
My favourite so far! :)
I will post some photos these days with Firenze and Siena. :)

I have a question: in Siena, is this photo related to "The Archeological Museum" ? :-? Because I did not have the chance to visit it. :(
10x in advance. :D

What do you mean when you say related. In Siena there's an archeological museum, it's inside the "Santa Maria della Scala" complex, just in front of the dome. The museum is located in some caves below the ancient building, there you'll find a lot of roman and etruscan stuff found in Siena and all around the city. Feel free to ask more if you need informations about it.

:) related, meaning... should I think about the "Archeological Museum" or about another museum. And yes, this is it. :) You answered my question. Grazie mille! :)
I also found the DVD on which I put all the photos from Italy. :D
I just cannot wait to put them online.
Grazie milee! :) Ciao!

Today I've seen a street artist in Siena like the one you shot in Florence, I didn't have a camera to take a picture... Next time I will!

:) cannot wait to see the result!
I do not know if it is noticeable here, but she is actually an Asian girl. I do not know if she actually lived in Firenze or if she only was a tourist like me, but great work anyway! :)
I asked her how much time it took so far and she answered 4 hours. And one could tell it was not finished.
ANd what I said about the cleaning machine, it was true. As you see, she did it directly on the ground, whereas other artist had it done on a paper, so they could move where ever they wanted to.
After I took the photo, looked at her work and talked to her, I was just looking behind and saw the clening machine coming, and I sooo much felt sorry for her striving to achieve that kind of work! :(
