The appeals process for Dallas County evictions takes 5 days after the court hearing. If the required five-day appeal period has passed and you haven't heard anything about your case, you can file a "Writ of Possession" in court. A Writ of Possession is a court order to the constable to give you possession of the property. This might cost you an extra $130 (this amount is subject to change), and you have to ask for it at the Justice of the Peace office, which is where the judgment is made.
