Photography under siege? With ever increasing paranoia about security, it now takes three policemen to investigate an architectural photographer on the streets of London. My image is slightly blurred: but this was a real snapshot and I didn't want the cops to turn round and see me so I had to work fast!

WoW! Be careful, Stevie! Otherwise, we have to come and to try and rescue you from the jail, bribing the cops ... with 1-2 banitsa ;) :D

@dhania: you are right - I somehow doubt that a real terrorist would drag a heavy and cumbersome view camera along, take an hour setting it up, and splash out on 10x8 plate film, all just to work out where to leave a bomb!

@Corax: who knows? In London they now reckon that every citizen's photo is taken 300 times a day by surveillance cameras. Very scary, if you ask me.

makes London an even less appealing travel destination (as if the security at Heathrow wasn't bad enough, let alone the runway of LCY airport). I guess as a tourist I'd have to wear some kind of camouflage then, baseball cap, huge sunglasses, a wig? ;) just kidding of course, but it *is* scary. (and it is all FUD if you ask me).
