I hope you don't mind me saying this to you! It would have been hard for me not to have cropped half of this out. I really like the rope and columns, however. The contrasting light and shadows, there, are interesting, intricate and awesome! My comment notwithstanding, I see that the judges really liked this, as is.

Thank you for your kind comment for which I am very grateful!

I had no choice NOT to crop the pic at the left side: There was a music stand with promotion for some concerts exactly at the left edge of the column. And as the attendance was just a few meters beside me I did not dare to remove it... ;-)

However I made a similar pic back in the early/mid 1990s - analogue of course - and will perhaps post it here as soon as I have found and digitised it.
