This plinth was once adorned by a statue of Diana, as indicated in the Latin inscription in the first two lines. A woman of the Roman patricianate, she was apparently a benefactress of Perge, even though my research indicates she was from Bithynia, in northern Asia Minor near present-day Istanbul. Perge is in southern Turkey near the coast.

Also, note that the bottom two lines are in Greek and instead of venerating the Romanized Diana, pay tribute to the local goddess Artemis.
