Derek Hildreth

Heather and I took an 8 mile (there and back) day hike as a gift for Father's Day to the Lower Palisades Lake. We had tons of fun, but we were pretty sore when we got back down the trail. We saw some wildlife including birds, chipmunks, snakes, and the leg of a large animal that "hopped" as Heather put it (I was thinking a deer, but who knows).
