What's The Purpose Of India Having Its Capitals?
There are many reasons that India has capital cities. One reason is that the capital city of a state is often the biggest and most populous in the state. Delhi, India's capital, is also the capital city of Haryana, Punjab Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan. It is also much easier to manage a state with one capital city than when it was divided into numerous cities. It is easier to manage Uttar Pradesh with one central capital city, Lucknow as opposed to how it would be if there were several smaller capitals scattered throughout the region. In addition numerous Indian states were formed during the initial years of the country's liberation from British rule, and decided to use the name of their biggest city as their state's official name. This was often done to reflect the significant influences of culture and language that were prevalent within the city at the time. https://www.freejobalert.com/states-and-capitals-of-india-uts/965045/ |
