I had never heard of wigeons! So, had to look it up and - drum roll - it's a duck. And, they're all over the continent. Nice shot!

Oh, yeah, they are ducks. ;-) This refuge in Alabama has maybe tens of thousands (I'm guessing) of various water birds during the winter.
