Lactuca sativa var. crispa in both colours and the carots inbetween / Lollo Rosso, Lollo Bionda und die Moehren dazwischen
This raised box full really helped very well with vegetable expenses and made for great tasting fresher food. In fact it still does although there is now only a little very old ruccola in bloom for the insects and along with that many big orange carrot roots with ugly tired greens on top left in there. But for octorber that's not to bad... / In diesem Hochbeet hatten wir dieses Jahr wohl das beste Preis-Leistungsverhaeltniss das half sehr am Supermarktgemuese zu sparen und und immer wirklich Frisches zu geniesen. Es gibt dort immer noch einen etwas aeltelichen Ruccola mit Blueten fuer die Insekten und einige grosse Karotten mit unansehnlichem muedem Gruenzeug. Aber fuer Oktober ist das gar nicht so schlecht... |
