With a glimpse of the sea right of the Neck and the ferns concealing the shearwater burrows. As opposed to what today is called a Puffin, the Manx Shearwater prefers to make burrows below fern patches over grassy areas. Rater odd, comes to think the fer patches are level peatgrounds with less drainage than the gras pathes on the knolls.
