Yes, rater dark and intensive. I adimre this plant too although it got only like 3 blossoms when we where over in season and in the stores I often see them displayed and sold with 25 blossoms standing like a pomello-sized half-globe on the ground. This way it looks more like the ones in the wild. Perhaps it is for the tap water is so chalky it mineralizes all bought soil for potted flowers it changed from the look of a storebought steemless Gentian. Strangely, the steemless gentian I got for the rock wall died, Renates planted by the bavarian lion with regular soil just changed to look a bit like wild ones and lives for many years now.
