Well, high mountains are directly to both sides, but it is almost to close to see so much until you look upvalley toward Stilfs/Glurns or downvalley Naturns/ Meran. Up from the high pasture dairies the view is truly awesome. As you will see from upcomining pictures, in our favorite hotel the best of the views to be had straight out of the window are of the few old orchard trees the landlady safed from modern comerce fruit farming and a bit dark wooded slope under the sky. The phantastic glaciers you see from Saint Martin on the Kofel are hidden.
