It was twice simplified from original baroque splendour. Both the saecularisation when the collegiate church was turned into a protestant parochial centre accessed through a privacy funnel in the backyard of a kings holiday home and then the damage in WWII with the big restauration in the 50's afforded some changes. I am not sure if the windows where always a simple oval in a rectangle sans stucco just like this.
