Stylish? Those are cow licence plates. At least regulations forgot to make them wear a white light in front and a red one on the bum, so you are informed in which direction such a cow moves!

I was being sarcastic ;) I know what the ear tags are & what they're for... Not like cows are a foreign concept here in the US ;) Though here they tend to be branded as well as tagged =(

Fizgig, it is never a insult, if one's style gets coppied by a lower lifeform.

Then again the man has also other things in common with some cattle. I remember the old times when the next farmer down the road had not yet his children build their family homes on the little pasture right above the west front of Renate's house, before the farmland up there was rededicated for building. Young cattle was lead for grazing there in the daytime, driven back home each day. And Renate, she had her washroom facing this pasture and she opened the window wide when ever the weather permitted in order to do her laundry. At some point in the programme her powerful Miele washer would start to spin with a roar, and each time the big calfs twitched in horror and made a beeline to the further away fence of the enclosure nearby! It was so comical to watch! :o)

And now look at that grown up american politician, and how afraid he is of our well working german washers.... there must be some context. Perhaps he has eaten a cursed cheeseburger once? LOL
