Alas the feet of the Christophoros got later covered with memorials for honorations. Behind this one you can still see the hermit from the legend peep out. / Leider wurden die Fuesse vom Christopherus spaeter mit Gedenktafeln diverser Leute verdeckt. Hinter dieser sieht man noch den Eremiten aus der Legende hervorgucken. |

The wall might have been whitewashed when someone planed to put a slab or marble in honour of their belated priest there... but still.... whilst the thing is itself made with care and rather cute with that sun and moon poem, it destryoyed part of really ancient art :o(
