Built in 1580 this is a baroque palace was serving a count as representive abode on his estate. / 1580 erbaut war dieser Barockpalast die Wohnstatt eines Grafen auf seinen Landguetern.

Clever illusionist painting can be fun. Like flat Atlas tucking in his tummy for the cars rushing by....
If the original owner could have ever envisioned the traffic on the street by his yard gate? This is one difficult and dangerous place for picture taking. Ay least the other side of the road got a continous paved sidewalk. But it is narrow and I still had to press into a door frame and try to become like this Atlas too, to let people pass and wait for my chance of unobstructed view.

It is in a bad shape Marvin, and sitting way to close to mainroad for todays needs. We did stay in a hotel actually just a bit down this road, but the whole surrounds are very unattractive unless you use a very contrieved angle, and we never went to explore the surviving pictures on this walls. You are always in the way of others when not moving along on the narrow sidewalk across from it. It is strange they actually list it as one of the towns points of interest as from a traffic point of view it would be sure preferable if people do not stop and look there ever.

Well, it is not really worldfamous and at that in a state of decay, it's rather a marvel it still is around... but if you will suffer it in your group, of course you may have it! Thanks for the invitation. :o)
