It was Funken-sunday and they village youth sure must have been a bit more upset about rain on the pyres than me just getting a clammy parka on a little hike. Whilst I am not a fan myself of getting drunk outside at night in the months with "r" ever as this inevitably ends with a handsome cold, and least of burning symbolic witches (a dressed up straw doll) there are many that feel disapointed when it is to wet and unfriendly for the woodpile to propperly ignite or for people to stay there long, socialize and leave some money at the revelries.
