This is a waterway in the thin ice between the east side of Rohrspitz and the New Rhine embankments, that keeps the harbour of Fussach connected with Lake Constance. No idea if it was already thawed on it's own accord or kept free by a boat with a sturdy hull. After all, whilst there are no public ferries in the delta, at the very least there are a few resident hobby fishermen with tiny nutshells and also police regulary controls the reedbelt from the outside for people making mischief unless it becomes totally impossible.
