A variation from the spot in which the previous shot was taken, framing a bit to the left, with the Zimba prominently in the middle but getting the trail into a corner / Eine andere Version von der selben Stelle wie das letzte Bild geschossen, etwas weiter nach links, um Zimba besser in die Mitte zu ruecken, wobei allerdings der Weg in der Ecke landet

glorious mountains - it amazes me that they have no snow on them.

That was in early September. Snow of the previous years keeps at those ranges (Zimba is the talest in the pic, around 2600m) only well at north slope enclosures and on glaciers and new just had not fallen yet. I took a zoom shot of a white icefield that day, looking across to brandner glacier, but that was the only to see anywhere.
