Nice picture of this balsam; I didn't know that there was/is a yellow variation. Til now I only knew the pink and the reddish ones. Regards, Remmelt

Remmelt, this yellow balsam one is the native one, that pink stuff with the laeger flowers, called also "Jewel Weed"or "Policeman's Helmet" in english, is a neophyte from asia.

Our native ones come in orange, [very rarely] pink, & yellow =) Invaluable plant at one time for treating poison ivy rashes....
