Silver-washed Fritillary / Kaisermantel / Argynnis paphia
A greenish f. valesina female. Still not very common north of the alps, but they seem to expand and there are increasing reports. this girl almost visited me at home, so to speak, I found her on the everyday walk down to the Rotach weir ruin. / Ein gruenlich ueberflogenes Weibchen der Form f. valesina. Noch immer recht selten noerdlich der Alpen, aber es kommt zu immer mehr Sichtungen. Diese hier hat mich ja fast zuhause besucht, auf. dem Alltags-Spazierweg zum alten Rotachwehr. |

Actually I think our Kaisermantel on the upper side looks not too different to the Great-spangled Frit. But then the nominate form is also bright orange with dark spots, not greenish like this subspecies...
