Mountain Brook / Gebirgsbach

As far as I could research, this one is named Plattnbach, anyway it's on the lowest point on way between Rona and the smaler Mottakopf. Soweit ich herausfinden konnte heisst der Plattnbach, jedenfalls kreuzt man diesen am Tiefpunkt der Wanderung zwischen Rona und dem kleinen Mottakopf.

Very nice shot, it must be quite a sight after heavy rains.
Best wishes, Doug

Thanks Doug, very kind of you! Strange enough it just had still rained some minutes ago when we first crossed, and it was a regular downpour when we crossed again on our way back. There is no real bridge, but an ample concrete pipe segment with the car track to a few cabins leading across. There was however nearly no difference within the downpour or much in the way of warning, just the trickle getting down.

Nice place to rest for a while during a long walk

It would be in hot weather and dry conditions I guess, in a deep little cut below tall trees and complete with an elevated trough having a sign that the water flowing in is fit for drinking I guess the spot is meant for rest and bottle refill even. Alas I got no sharp pic of trough and bench.
