Clinkard Special 1955 - originally built in 1954/55 bt Lt Cdr. Clinkard and Frank Graves on a purpose built cgassis with a 6 cylinder 4.3 litre Alivis engine, Alvis gearbox and Jaguar differential, originally supercharged, but normally aspirated in later years. The body is from an E type E.R.A. purchased for £35 (about £740 today). The car was used in sprints, hill climbs, speed trials and circuit races throughout Europe.
