[ Why I did it ]
By the time I got to Aphrodite (Venus of Arles), the crowd was unbearable... Circled this piece for an hour before this shot was available, even then I had to do a very close shot... Positioned it (the camera) a lot higher even for this close a shot, might turn out good, bad or ugly (not something Aphrodite would have wanted)...

Aphrodite looks like an apparition amongst the crowd... Look closely at the persons on the left and far right, both have their right hand on their face. Makes it look like they are gasping in shock. One is actually taking a photo with a camera-phone, the other is just plain stunned by the statue... *lawl*
Even though most of the shots taken in this roll (2008-03-15) were blurry and over-exposed, none of them are wasted and I definitely learned a lot...
Amongst all the shots this one left quite an impression ("Greek Gods walk Amongst Us")
