Great shot composition! My ornamental peach is a few hours away from being covered in a fluffy wet blanket of snow... Yours looks to be a week or so away from blooming.

Thanks for viewing, Fiz. Yes this gem too would have been covered in ice and snow had I not brought in , knowing yet another storm was just hours down the road toward Tulsa. That is why it has broken dormancy -- the warmth of the room. Cold tonight and tomorrow -- when will it end. Stay warm. We sent you an e-mail , it was rejected as "spam" will rewrite and try again.

You can send a message via ipernity if you're having issues sending from this site. I'll still get it...

Unlike you -- and probably the vast majority of other people -- I like winter.... The cold.... The snow in particular is just so beautiful. Yeah, shoveling can be a pain, but beauty has its price is how I look at it =) I'm hoping, if all goes well, to get out and do some winter wonderland photography early Mon. mornin'... It already looks so pretty out there!

Nice blossoms, but so early! Good job it seems to be potted and easy to shelter.

Martina, thanks for you visit and time & nice comment. Yes we have the black background of velvet and it comes in very handy when you want a solid dark background.

Sonja, the Peach tree, a dwarf, has its first open fully blossom. Many more in the next day or so. Then it will burst into full bloom. And yes, the container it is in only weighs about 30 pounds and as the tree is only 34 inches high, it is easily moved about. Hope the temperature goes up in the next few day so that at least it can get a couple of hours of sunlight. Thanks for your visit.

I remember doing the same sometimes with my apricot tree in London. Fine shot!
