Thank you so much for your wonderful comments. Yes, I do, intentionally try to write with clearly. Like you, I often read reports and wonder why they are so poorly written. Sloppy journalism, for example has no excuse. I have written one book, and finishing another - they are not perfect, but I worked hard to justify my readers expectations. That's the way I write here as I explain my photographs, and try to give thanks to my viewers -- such as you. I do appreciate your visits.

Marvin, I feel right at home with tbis photo! We're covered with it here but it doesn't grow much to the north. Sometimes areas are referred to as being "north or south of the moss line" :) . People harvest it and sell to buyers for floral arrangements, etc. Will make photos when rain clears.
