Siloam Ethel Smith, (1985) daylily (Hemerocallis) was developed by our local lady, Pauline Henry, who for years work in this field and has to her credit many such accomplishments. Ethel was well known, and my wonderful aunt.

'Siloam Gumdrop' is credited to her as well -- and looks very similar to this one. Anyway, this is a pretty one =) Like the colors! Nicely photographed, too....

All the "Siloam" series are by her. Many very different, "Siloam Amazing Grace" (1989) for example. Yellow self with a greenish throat.

Marvin..... I thought so, but I never paid that much attention to who developed the varieties I've photographed --- would take me too much time ;).

Nice to have a registered cultivar named for a relative! It's pretty!

And there seems a Siloam for almost every taste.
My personal favorite is the "Space Age", BTW.

Edited for that window was open so long I missed parts of the conversation and that you already got that link...

Great picture Marvin (there's an Ethel Smith in my family tree too).

I expect your Smith's are from U.K. also. Thanks for the visit.
