Fuji-san 9/15-9/18
A bunch of us Okayama JETs bussed to Fuji where we stopped at the beautiful Lake Hakone for a few hours on Saturday. We rested at a hostel in Yamanashi Saturday night, where we ate yakiniku (korean bbq) and drank lots of water in prep for the climb. We hiked up and down Fuji-san in a total of about 12 hours, starting at 5:30am on Sunday morning. Then relaxed at an onsen Sunday night (hot spring bath) with a bunch of naked Japanese men (or women depending on your sex). Sorry, we only took pictures of Fuji and Hakone. Better luck next time!
