Hosen Koko Annual Festival 9/9-9/12
Hosen Koko's, Brian's senior high school, annual festival. Every senior high in Japan holds an annual culture and sports festival, often split into two days for each. At the culture festival students prepare traditional foods and activity booths, as well as dancing, singing, and playing in bands. On sports day they compete in relay races and other team activities in order to get more points than the homerooms they are competing agains. Each homeroom is scored on everything from how they march onto the field, the banners they make, and how well they perform in the events (including brief 3-5 minute musical/play things). It's fantastically fun!
