@Martina: What you see in this picture is one of the two wings of inns with housing and shops, built in early 18th century to account for the heavy influx of pilgrims to the Cape to worship Our Lady of Pedra Mua.

@Martina: The all complex is not being used with the exception of the church. For many years there have been rumours of the buildings being used for a hotel but so far nothing happened.
