Wow, I didn't even know there were woods in Iceland! Do you know if they were originally planted or have been there naturally?

The idea that there are no trees in Iceland is exagerated. There are some woods and forests here and there, and there is a reforestation plan going on for some years. I don't know if these trees have grown there naturally or were planted. I tried to find some information about it but to no avail. The whole Mývatn area is amazing.

I've never been to Iceland myself so was curious :-) It always looks amazing!
