It's a lifelong, continuing effort, I think. In these days of airbrushed, photoshopped fake women in the media she'll still need you to tell her she's 30.

You are probably right... :-(
I do try to compliment her and give her experiences that boost her confidence (experiences that dont' involve her looks) but it's really hard to find the balance. Don't want her not to believe in me, just because I repeat myself, no do I? She's 5 now and very sensitive at the moment so I really have to think twice before I speak...
Well, well. Hopefully she'll grow up full of self confidence, not focusing on her looks too much :D

That's all we can do. Give'em lots of kisses (literally and figuratively) and set a strong example by living our beliefs, and they'll grow up to be happy, confident, ass-kicking women.
