This was something my wife and I both wanted. Both of us were brought up around firearms and appreciate and understand their good uses and bad because that's what it comes down to really, how it's used. Without a human controlling it, a gun is just an inanimate object. It also helps that I was a Navy gunner's mate and my wife is a federal officer. This firearm is for home defense, just like the rifle that was kept by her kitchen door as a kid, and the shotgun behind mine growing up. There to protect the home and its occupants from all that would harm them, be it wild animal or wilder human.
