Leaves in the autumn-sun
Done with channel-mixer. Reducing red was turning the branch (right word?) to black and reducing blue enhanced the structure of the leaves. Adding green enlighted the leaves to take focus to them.

Can you get the side wall of the building a bit brighter? Then the contrast between the twig (better than branch?) and the wall would be better.

Channel mixing is by far the best way to convert to B&W. In this shot I like the way the veins in the leaves stand out so clearly.
