The Newport Bridge over the Tees at Middlesbrough. The central section of the bridge lifts up, balanced by the weights on the towers, to allow boats to pass up the river.

The technique is fascinating, never heard of this before. Do you know Bernd and Hilla Becher? :)) An artist couple taking photos of abandoned industry structures, Bernd died just recently. And, of course, a really great shot of yours!
