Have to hit my one thousand by the end of the month, in time to upload the next thousand. Got a big collection to sort out.

That's not fair to stop you at 921 ... and I bet your best ones were from 922 to ... say ... 10,000! !

I think I understand. But ... Free 1000 uploads per month. How on earth do they make any money????
Are you trying to upload your portfolio from somewhere else before it gets totally frazzled? Please let me know if I should be doing something different than just sitting here???????

Yes. Ex-Panoramio , then just as loads of us were happily settling in at ipernity we got the bad news.
...same old, same old ...
I want to give 23 a fair shot. I don't need to upload everything straight away; I can do it bit by bit and intersperse with new material. I have all my photos in the cloud with Picasa and on an external hard drive.
But the best result would be to keep ipernity and I have asked Santa VERY nicely for this!!!

So how much is it and are they going to improve it for our money?
What is Phanfare? I suppose I will need to Google it.
So they have seen the dollar sign light up with the increase in numbers!

Thank you Isisbridge. Yes, I went and checked it out but I couldn't see any hint of a community feel such as I have enjoyed on Pano, iperntity and also here, in a more limited way. Have I missed something or am I that antideluvian technovirgin with values that expired with the end of the last ice age, that I always feared I was? :o(

It seems they have been taken by surprise by a few more members than usual and have yet to form a coherent strategy to deal with the opportunities this might bring!
I hadn't thought about it much before, Isisbridge but you are probably right. In order of the most important to me; 1) community, 2) displaying my photos and 3) internet coverage.
