A fine shot from (I presume) Maytime, with the hawthorn in bloom. It won't be all that long before we have Spring again!!

May 2008. It's like fairyland along here when the may is out.
Do you have the hawthorn in Spain?

Fortunately, yes! And also blackthorn but the wild plum it produces, although looking exactly like our sloe, is different in that it is addled by the hot sun and becomes flabby in taste; therefore useless for sloe gin. Believe me I tried!
