Work has begun on diverting the flow of water away from the Highbury meadow footpath. Several of the places where water collects and crosses the footpath have been inspected, and, in this case, a temporary channel has been dug. ..One item of interest is a bit of white landscape fabric in the foreground. ....This waterflow is spring-like in that it emerges from teh ground higher up. But it may just be runoff from higher up in the old Highbury gardens, whose former drainage pattern has been altered through neglect.
