A new macro attempt, shot with the Canon 17-55 mm kit lens in reverse position... unfortunately, focusing is very hard when shooting this way (and bees are fast ;-).

An excellent attempt! When I tried to shoot a bee, I got a beautiful image of the flower, but the bee was nowhere to be seen!! I think this is ever so slightly over-exposed, but maybe you could adjust it in PP.

Thanks Stevie. According to the histogram, there's no 'real' overexposure in the picture, so I could darken it down...

Unfortunately, it doesn't look as good in full size, since it's more or less out of focus. Sooner or later I'll need to get a macro lens.
