Embarrassing indeed
This is what I got upon restarting Firefox after a crash. Not just the crash, and the failure to restore the previous session... the layout of the page was broken, not showing what windows and tabs were open.
Clicking on "Restore" actually succeeded at restoring the session.
And yes, Firefox (fully updated) seems to be crashing much more frequently these days. This last crash happened when trying to watch a movie preview in Netflix.

hm. the newest firefox seems to be running more efficiently for me, when i've been using it.

that's some serious crashiness though. maybe it is specifically related to the silverlight plugin?

The crash that led to this screen was when viewing a flash-based preview on netflix's website, on a PPC machine. No silverlight for PPC.
