excuse my Deutsch ;)
hey! und Sonntag fange ich ein neues Buch an!
by miss Donna recommendation kaufe ich: Die Stadt der Träumenden Bücher von Walter Mörs, selbstverständlich lese ich auf Englisch aber ist The City of Dreaming Books, Thilo said Moers is a kult man in your country, huh? will let you know how it goes!... übrigens mag ich das Wort "selbstverständlich" it is such a looong-complex word! when i write it makes me feel like i am really speaking or reading a "foreign complex language" heh heh
big warm hug frau feli to help with the Berlin cold!
Take your time to read "Die Stadt der verloren Bücher", you won't stop till the very last page, I tell you. With Books like that I nearly don't dare to lay them down for sleeping or eating because I fear that the action inside might carry on without me :)))
There came a new one out by Walter Moers end of last year and I'm longing to buy it! But well, all the things I want to buy..! I recommend all of his books very heavily, especially "The 13 1/2 lives of captain Bluebear" I looooved it, it's soooo funny and wise! He makes fun of all kind of scientific theories like quarks or black holes. :D
Have fun and an cosy weekend on your couch ;)))
yes i am loving moers! :) this week i have abandoned him but this Sunday is supposed to be raining all day in San Diego, so good chance to catch up, so far what i've read is great! and yes! there are so far a couple of references to The 13 1/2 lives of captain Bluebear in this book, can't wait to read it that one too, and yes! the illustrations are great and so funny!
Gute Nacht und einen schönen Sonntag! :)
