oh frau feli, you are in the "clothes with history" club!!! when my mother visits me in San Diego, we looove going to Thrift Stores... we find the weirdest clothes and some nice ones too!
in Mexico is NOT common at all to wear second-hand clothes, but in USA, i love it!!! so my mom gets a bunch of "gifts" there and when she takes them to Mexico, she tells people they are NEW and from Macy's or other fancy USA shop... but we secretly call them "clothes with a dark past" or "clothes with history" is fun to imagine who wear them before you ;)

Hey, Bere! It's such a nice idea, you and your mother browsing Thrift stores (that's what they are called in the U.S.?) To me it's much fun thinking what kind of people must have been wearing my coat. I'm sure it must have been some cute little granny..

But this "clothes with a dark past" is just soooo witty!! And the idea of aunts and cousins walking around very proudly in a "unique Macy's skirt" Hahahahaha!! Lovely :)
