Thundering Dingmans Falls
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Delaware Water Gap Nat'l Recreation Area, Pike County, PA.
Full spectrum color, high definition photo…

✍ Access to get full on shots of the falls wasn't possible as a number of devastating Spring storms have destroyed and/or blocked with fallen trees all the boardwalk trails below this vantage point of the falls. The volume of water flowing into the gorge was/is incredible -- as was the noise it generated. Public access to these falls will be closed for years to come -- as estimated by the national parks service -- though locals who know the woods around these falls will find ways -- as I did --- to get a view of the falls. It was, unfortunately, too late in the day to try a diff't approach to get a full view of the falls from below.... That won't stop me next time, though ;) The falls don't look this amazing often in ones lifetime, after all.
