A great picture of the Horse Nettle, and the common name is well applied, thorns ! and sharp ! My book calls it "troublesome" perhaps a better word would be "bedevil" certainly a "nuisance" and I guess they are everywhere. Yes, the blossom is very much like a potato. I almost bet my fingers stuck just looking -- no offense , Fiz.
