Fizgig

✍ When I first encountered this little bird, I almost stepped on it.... Thinking it was injured or something, I tried to pick it up but it scampered away through the brush & leaves. After several attempts, I noticed that it was just fine, stopping to grab insects from the undersides of leaves. It never flew further than necessary, but it clearly had the ability to do so. I took this photo of the cute little thing on my way back up the trail/old road where I found it again in the same spot as my first encounter.
