✎ The Beaux-Arts style houses were built in 1901. They were works of Charles P.H. Gilbert and of architects Van Vleck & Goldsmith. They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
✎ The Marymount School of New York, is a college preparatory, independent, Catholic day school for girls, founded by Mother Marie Joseph Butler in 1926 as part of a network of schools directed by the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, an international order of women established in 1849 in Béziers, France. Marymount has 100% of each graduating class accepted to four-year universities in the U.S. and abroad.
