✎ The Ansonia, designed by noted architect Paul Duboy, opened in 1904 as a luxury hotel stretching along Broadway, between W73rd & W74th streets, near Lincoln Center. By the 1970s it was converted into 430 rental apartments. It is now a designated landmark on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
