✎ The Beaux Arts building was completed in 1900. Despite having no landmark protections, the landmark building's exterior has changed very little since it was built. The top floor, above the original mansard roof, is not part of the original building but was added in 1916 by banker Joseph Wright Harriman in the form of a conservatory. The bowed bay to the front was removed, along with most of the Beaux Arts pomposity, around 1938, to produce a more understated, modern dwelling.
